It’s based on the idea that children have two primary needs in their emotional development:
1. The need to explore and discover the world (this is the child’s need for independence and curiosity).
2. The need to return to a safe base for comfort and reassurance (this is the child’s need for security, trust, and emotional support).

This event is to help community members learn more about agencies and services available to assist them with various needs. In partnership with Diakonia, Maryland Department of Human Services, The Samaritan Shelter, and Worcester County Health Department.
